China's deputy permanent representative to the United Nations has described dialogue and cooperation as the right path to resolving the Syrian chemical file.

At a UN Security Council session, Syria and Russia slam continued politicization of the Arab country’s chemical file by certain countries.

The US and its allies, who backed terrorist groups in Syria, are repurposing the OPCW as a political tool, as evidenced by the falsification of reports on the Douma chemical attack, which had been staged in order to incriminate Damascus.

Damascus says the West uses the OPCW and Syria’s so-called "chemical file" as a weapon to serve its agenda against the Arab country.
