The Yemeni Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates has vehemently censured recurrent US acts of aggression against Iran, emphasizing that such vicious acts pose a direct threat to international peace and security.

In a statement released on Thursday, the ministry stressed that ongoing US aggression on Iranian territory will push West Asia towards a comprehensive and all‑out war, which will have dangerous consequences for the region in particular and the whole world in general.

The ministry went on to point out the economic dimensions of continuing tensions, explaining that persistent American hostile behavior will have serious and destructive effects on international trade as well as oil and energy markets, and will jeopardize the stability of the global economy.

While declaring Yemen's full support for Tehran, the statement underlined the Islamic Republic's legitimate right to self‑defense.

"Tehran reserves the right to safeguard its national sovereignty and territorial integrity. It has the right to respond decisively to any aggression that targets its security and stability," the statement concluded.

The US military's Central Command (CENTCOM) announced late on Wednesday that it had carried out strikes against multiple targets inside Iran.

"CENTCOM forces launched strikes on Iranian military surveillance capabilities, communication systems, and air defense sites across Iran," it said in a statement.

In response, the Iranian Army and the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) pounded several bases and facilities of the US terrorist army across the region.

"During two waves of operations, the brave warriors of the Aerospace Force and the heroes of the IRGC Navy, in the early hours of this morning (Thursday), struck and destroyed eighteen important targets belonging to the evil US army in the Ali Salem and Ahmad al‑Jaber air bases, as well as the Sheikh Issa air bases," the IRGC said in a statement issued early on Thursday.

It added that the attacks were conducted in punishment of the aggressor and in response to the attack of the child‑killing US army on some of the IRGC service units and coastal outposts, the police command, and the Bandar Abbas airport area.

Also, the Iranian Army said in a statement that following the ceasefire violation and the US terrorist army's invasion of areas in the south of the country, the Islamic Republic of Iran's Army targeted the US Fifth Fleet in Bahrain with various types of kamikaze drones.

The communication antennas and radar installations of the Patriot air defense system of the Fifth Fleet were targeted in the drone strikes.
