FAO warns fertilizer scarcity will affect next harvests, food supplies

The specialized agency of the United Nations that leads international efforts to combat hunger worldwide has warned that fertilizer scarcity caused by disruptions in the Strait of Hormuz will severely impact harvests and food supplies in the coming months.

The crisis is the direct consequence of the illegal war launched on Iran by Washington and Tel Aviv.
