Don’t miscalculate Iran’s combat readiness, commander warns enemies

Brigadier General Ali Jahanshahi

The commander of the Ground Force of the Iranian Army has warned enemies against miscalculating the morale and combat capabilities of Iranian armed forces.

Brigadier General Ali Jahanshahi made the remarks during an inspection of the combat readiness of Ground Force units deployed along the borders.

“The combat morale of the Army Ground Force fighters in the face of any enemy aggression is very high,” he said.

“With this heroic spirit and the strong support of the Iranian nation for the armed forces, any enemy aggression against the country’s land borders will be met with a crushing, regretful response.”

The commander assured the nation that the country’s borders are secure and calm thanks to the deployment of the armed forces.

“Enemy movements are constantly monitored,” Jahanshahi said.

“With the vigilance of the nation’s devoted forces on the borders, any threat against the noble people of Iran will be dealt with decisively,” he added.

The warning comes amid heightened regional tensions following the US-Israeli war of aggression on Iran, which began on February 28.

The illegal, unprovoked war included the assassination of Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei and strikes on military installations, nuclear facilities, power plants, schools, hospitals and other civilian infrastructure.

Iran’s armed forces responded with 100 waves of decisive retaliatory strikes under Operation True Promise 4 against American military bases across West Asia and Israeli positions throughout the occupied territories.

A fragile ceasefire brokered by Pakistan is currently in place, but tensions remain high.
