Judiciary chief hails negotiators as ‘guardians’ of Iran’s war rights

Iran’s Judiciary chief Gholamhossein Mohseni-Ejei has lauded members of the Iranian negotiating team for their strenuous efforts in safeguarding the country’s rights in the US-Israeli war of aggression.

“I highly praise the Iranian delegation led by Dr. (Mohammad Baqer) Qalibaf -- the Speaker of the Iranian Parliament, who engaged in more than 20 hours of continuous and intensive negotiations in Islamabad,” Mohseni-Ejei wrote in a post published on his X account on Sunday.

You were the guardians of the rights of the battlefield,” he added.

Despite approximately 21 hours of negotiations and diplomatic efforts, the Americans’ excessive demands prevented reaching an agreement.

The Iranian delegation presented various initiatives during the talks, but the Americans obstructed progress in the talks.

Reports indicate that various issues, including the Strait of Hormuz and nuclear rights, were among the points of disagreement.

No plans regarding the time, location, or next round of negotiations have been announced yet.
