Hezbollah fires record 85 strikes in a day, targets Israeli war ministry with precision missiles

Fighters from the Lebanese Hezbollah resistance movement carried out at least 85 retaliatory operations against Israeli military installations in the occupied territories on March 25, 2026.

The Lebanese Hezbollah resistance movement has carried out dozens of rocket, missile, and drone strikes against Israeli military installations deep inside the occupied territories within the past 24 hours, setting a new record in the course of retaliatory operations against the Tel Aviv regime.

According to Lebanese media outlets, the resistance fighters engaged in direct confrontations with Israeli troops across the towns of Qouzah, Taybeh, Debl, Naqoura, Khiam, Mays al-Jabal, Maroun al-Ras, Alma al-Shaab, and the Taybeh–Qantara axis.

The fierce clashes resulted in the targeting of Israeli recovery units, Merkava battle tanks, Hummers, and D9 bulldozers.

The Israeli army's Shomera barracks, the Meron base, positions south of Khiam, and troop concentrations in Qouzah, Taybeh, Debl, Alma al-Shaab, Naqoura, Maroun al-Ras, Shlomi, Kiryat Shmona, and Misgav Am were struck with swarms of Hezbollah combat drones.

The resistance group's surface-to-air missiles also forced an Israeli fighter jet to retreat and struck a helicopter.

In the meantime, Hezbollah's heavy rocket fire targeted Kiryat Shmona, Nahariya, Beit Hillel, Safad, the Krayot north of Haifa, Dishon, Birya, Kela in the Israeli-occupied Golan Heights, Karmiel, Ma’alot-Tarshiha, Karm Ben Zimra, Metula, Marj, and frontline positions. This marks a barrage of over 100 rockets within roughly 90 minutes.

Additionally, strikes hit the Dado/Northern Command headquarters north of Safad, the Meron surveillance and air operations base, Beit Hillel, Birya, Shomera, Kela, military infrastructure in Safad, Ktzerin, Karmiel, and Ma’alot-Tarshiha, logistical bases in Karm Ben Zimra, the Rafael complex, and the Krayot area north of Haifa.

Separately, Hezbollah announced in a statement on Thursday that it had launched a salvo of precision missiles at the premises of the Israeli Ministry of War in central Tel Aviv.

The Dolphin intelligence barracks north of the city also came under attack.

There were no immediate reports on the extent of the damage or possible casualties.

The attacks came in reprisal for the ongoing Israeli aggression against civilians and vital infrastructure in Lebanon.

Hezbollah's recent campaign has been characterized by an intense and unprecedented operational tempo.

In recent days, the fighters of the resistance movement have carried out as many as two offensive operations per hour.

Among the most notable strikes was a missile attack that reached 200 kilometers deep inside the occupied territories, as well as a significant blow inflicted on the Israeli regime's ground forces operating in the northern sector.
