Massive nationwide rallies condemn US-Israeli aggression against Iran, martyrdom of Ayatollah Khamenei

Hundreds of thousands of Iranians poured into the streets in massive nationwide rallies following Friday prayers, fiercely denouncing the assassination of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, and the ongoing savage US-Israeli aggression against the Islamic Republic.

Huge crowds gathered in the capital Tehran and across major cities and towns throughout Iran on Friday, demonstrating the unbreakable spirit and unity of the Iranian nation in the face of the criminal US-Israeli onslaught.

Demonstrators waved banners and chanted powerful anti-US and anti-Israel slogans, expressing their vehement rejection of this unjustified and barbaric aggression.

They proudly displayed their revolutionary fervor, condemned the US-led imperialist schemes, and reaffirmed their unwavering allegiance to the sacred ideals of the Islamic Revolution and the path of its martyred Leader.

At the central rally in Tehran, prominent Friday Prayers leader Hojjat al-Islam Ali Akbari declared that mosques, congregational prayers, and supplications will continue to serve as a miraculous force, astonishing and defeating the enemies of Islam and Iran.

He paid tribute to the martyrs of the US-Israeli aggression, vowing that the Iranian nation will steadfastly follow the righteous path illuminated by these heroic martyrs.

To date, nearly 1,300 innocent people, mostly defenseless civilians, have been martyred in this barbaric and ongoing US-Israeli aggression.

In recent days, grieving Iranian mourners have held dignified funerals for hundreds of victims in Tehran, other major cities, and towns across the country, honoring their sacrifice and turning sorrow into unbreakable resolve.

The criminal regimes of the United States and the Zionist entity launched their unprovoked and treacherous assault on Iran on February 28, deliberately targeting civilian infrastructure, including schools, hospitals, and sports facilities, in a clear violation of all international norms and humanitarian principles.

In a firm and legitimate act of self-defense, Iran responded decisively by launching precise missiles and drones at military targets inside the occupied territories and at American bases throughout West Asia and the Persian Gulf region.
