Red Crescent Society: 555 people killed across Iran in US-Israeli onslaughts

Iran’s Red Crescent Society (IRCS) says 555 citizens have been killed across the country since Saturday, when Israel and the US began their military onslaughts against Iran.

In a statement on Monday, the IRCS explained that in one attack, the Israeli-US armed forces targeted a school in Minab in Hormozgan Province in southern Iran, killing at least 165 students and wounding 96 others.

The IRCS further said that the Israeli and US armed forces have attacked more than 131 towns and cities across the country.

More than 100,000 IRCS members have been deployed across the country to quickly respond to any emergency.

FM Araghchi condemns the massacre of schoolgirls in an Israeli aggression against an elementary school in the southern province of Hormozgan, stressing that the vicious crime will not go unanswered.

Also, more than four million volunteers are on high alert and ready to be deployed if the need arises, the statement concluded.

The US and Israel began their military aggression against Iran on Saturday by attacking 30 targets across the capital Tehran, killing several senior Iranian officials.Leader of the Islamic Republic Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei was also martyred.

Since then, Iranian armed forces have swiftly and decisively retaliated against the strikes by launching barrages of missile and drones against Israeli-occupied territories as well as on US bases in region.
