Yemen’s Ansarullah warns of US, Israel soft war on West Asia nations
A high-ranking official from Yemen’s Ansarullah resistance movement has cautioned against psychological operations of the United States and Israel in West Asia, stressing that they attempt to shape public opinion before any act of aggression against regional nations.
Mohammed al-Farah, a member of the political bureau of Ansarullah, on Sunday warned about efforts being made by Washington and the Tel Aviv regime to sow seeds of division among regional nations, emphasizing that Americans and Zionists employ a destructive and systematic policy to shape public perception or influence opinions before any military aggression.
“This is done through full-blown propaganda campaigns and media hypes, to psychologically manipulate societies and push them towards accepting aggression or reacting hastily and anxiously to it. They would, therefore, serve the aggressors’ sinister goals,” Farah stated.
He added, “Such seditious bids by the US and Israel have pushed peoples to simply watch the scenes of aggression as spectators and not take any action to confront them. This came after enemies could neutralize their awareness, weaken their correct understanding of religious principles, distort moral and humanitarian values, and shape public opinions to gratify their desires.”
Farah noted that enemies have, on occasions, made great efforts to wage intensive propaganda initiatives about their military objectives. “As a result of such deceptions, some regional and Muslim nations have unfortunately supported the goals of aggressors, as happened in case of Afghanistan and Iraq.”
Warning about sedition and the dangers of soft war, the senior Ansarullah official described the loss of awareness of nations, distortion of thoughts, confusion, and the inability to take the right stance as more destructive than the enemy’s power.
The Yemeni official then called on regional nations to exercise utmost awareness and insight, and avoid being swayed by enemies’ seditious bids and propaganda initiatives.
“What is unfolding in our region nowadays is part of a comprehensive US-Israeli scheme targeting the Muslim Ummah. Its confrontation requires profound thinking, restoration of awareness, creation of an independent position, and not acting as pawns in the hands of enemies to serve their interests,” Farah concluded.
