People from Iran and around the world have gathered in the southern Iranian city of Kerman where Lieutenant General Qasem Soleimani is laid to rest.

Mourners have marked the 6th martyrdom anniversary of General Soleimani, who was an anti-terror icon in West Asia. He was assassinated on January 3 in a US drone strike in Iraq.
