The political bureau of the Yemeni Ansarullah resistance movement has denounced the killing of senior Hamas commander Raed Saad in an Israeli attack in Gaza, stressing that the assassination will not break the will of the Resistance Front but will rather solidify its determination.
The bureau, in a statement released on Saturday, commiserated with Hamas, its military wing, the al-Qassam Brigades, and other Palestinian resistance factions over the assassination of Saad in a strike that killed at least four other people and wounded 25 Palestinians the previous day near Gaza City.
Ansarullah noted that the fallen Hamas commander played a fundamental role in developing the industrial capabilities of the Palestinian resistance front and was instrumental in dealing heavy blows to the Zionist enemy before and after Operation al-Aqsa Storm.
The statement also condemned Saad’s assassination as “a gross violation of the Gaza ceasefire agreement,” emphasizing that the targeted killing will not break the will of resistance fighters in Gaza but will strengthen their resolve to tread the path of sacrifice for the sake of freedom and dignity.
Ansarullah praised Saad as a “devoted commander, a symbol of noble sacrifice and great faith,” adding that his martyrdom is a loss for all freedom-loving people who believe in justice for the Palestinian people and decry their oppression.
The Yemeni resistance movement also renewed its pledge with the martyrs of the path toward al-Quds, stressing that the Yemeni nation will remain by the side of Palestine and its resistance groups until the occupied territories are fully liberated from the clutches of Zionist occupiers.
In response to the genocidal Israeli war on Gaza that began in October 2023, Yemeni forces implemented a strategic maritime blockade aimed at hindering the supply of military resources to Israeli-occupied territories.
At the same time, they carried out numerous missile and drone assaults on critical targets in the Israeli-occupied regions, illustrating their solidarity with the Palestinians in Gaza.
