Flood warnings issued as Storm Claudia batters UK

Severe flood warnings were in place in parts of England and Wales on Saturday (November 15) after Storm Claudia brought intense rainfall to the UK.

Britain's meteorological agency, the Met Office, said that conditions remained hazardous as heavy rain continued and that flooding was probable due to saturated ground.

Nearby areas in South Wales were flooded, and some train services to London and Swansea on Friday were cancelled.
