Israel's relentless violations
Israeli airstrikes continue to violate Lebanon’s sovereignty, weeks after a ceasefire agreement was put into effect between the regime and the Arab country. Reports say Israeli drones hit the southern town of Khiam, leaving at least one dead and several others injured. The attack came just hours after the regime’s forces pulled out of the area, with the Lebanese army stationing in the town. Lebanese Prime Minister Najib Mikati, has slammed the attack, calling it a blatant treachery. Mikati urged the US and France to present a clear position on such violations as monitors of the ceasefire, and stop the regime’s aggression. A ceasefire between Lebanon and Israel came into effect last month, however, it has been violated frequently by Israel.
US-Israeli genocide in Gaza
The Israeli military has killed more Palestinians in the war-torn Gaza Strip as the genocide continues apace. At least thirty three people lost their lives in Israeli airstrikes across southern Gaza. That’s according to Gaza’s civil defense. Among the victims were a dozen guards securing aid trucks in Rafah and Khan Yunis. The spokesman for the UN agency for Palestinian refugees, UNRWA, condemned the attack, accusing Israel of impeding all services for civilians. Also, an Israeli drone shot dead the only orthopedic specialist left in northern Gaza as he was on his way to hospital. Separate Israeli attack killed 15 Palestinians near Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza. The massacre comes hours after the UN General Assembly called for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza. More than 44,800 Palestinians have been killed in Israeli genocide since last October.
Israel's West Bank Killings
Israeli military raids in the occupied West Bank have killed two more Palestinians as the regime intensifies atrocities. The regime forces shot one man dead after they stormed the Balata refugee camp near the northern city of Nablus. A young Palestinian was also killed in Qalqilya. His body was taken by Israeli forces. Meanwhile, the regime forces abducted at least 40 Palestinians across the occupied West Bank, mainly in al-Khalil. They also destroyed Palestinian properties there. Since the outbreak of the US-Israeli genocidal war on Gaza last year, Israeli forces have intensified their raids in the occupied West Bank, abducting at least 11,900 Palestinians. More than 800 Palestinians have also been killed either by the regime forces or Israeli settlers.
