Pro-Palestinian protesters march in Frankfurt on Quds Day
Pro-Palestinian demonstrators marched in Frankfurt on International Quds Day on Saturday, demanding an immediate ceasefire in the Gaza Strip and calling on German authorities to stop funding Israel.
Footage shows protesters marching with Palestinian flags and banners calling for a ceasefire as they marched through Frankfurt's city center.
"We are here today for justice and peace. It is not just about Gaza but also for justice in the whole world. And everyone who has empathy should have a heart for Gaza. Because you can see that there are places where injustices are happening but in Gaza, it is 100 percent. 15,000 dead children - it is a number which, I would say in the last 20 years less children have died in the whole world than in this half year in Gaza and this is unacceptable. And that's what I am here for," a demonstrator said.
