Mar. 29: ‘Axis of Resistance’ operations against Israeli occupation

Amid Israel’s genocidal war on Gaza, which has killed more than 32,600 Palestinians so far, including at least 15,000 children, resistance groups in Palestine and across the region continue their operations against the Tel Aviv regime and its Western backers.

The major operations carried out by the Palestinian and regional resistance groups on Friday, March 29, are as follows:

Al-Qassam Brigades’ operations on Mar. 29:
(Gaza Strip)

  • Targeted a group of Israeli soldiers holed up in a house in the vicinity of the Nasser Hospital, west of Khan Younis city, with a TBG anti-fortification shell, resulting in casualties.
  • Targeted and destroyed an Israeli military Merkava-4 tank with a Shawaz explosive device, west of the Tal al-Hawa neighborhood, in southern Gaza City.
  • Targeted and destroyed two Israeli military Merkava-3 tanks with Yassin-105 rockets in the surroundings of the Al-Shifa Hospital Complex, western Gaza City.
  • Targeted a group of Israeli soldiers hiding inside a building in the vicinity of the Al-Shifa Medical Complex in western Gaza City with anti-personnel shells, resulting in casualties.
  • Shelled Israeli soldiers and their vehicles while they were advancing toward the Al-Shifa Medical Complex with mortar shells, inflicting casualties and material losses.

Al-Quds Brigades’ operations on Mar. 29:

  • Shelled gatherings of Israeli soldiers around the Al-Shifa Medical Complex, west of Gaza City, with a barrage of mortar shells, resulting in casualties.
  • Ambushed an Israeli infantry force, west of Khan Younis city, resulting in multiple casualties.
  • Targeted an Israeli military vehicle with an RPG in the Al-Aqqad area west of Khan Younis city.
  • Targeted an Israeli military vehicle with a Tandem rocket in the Al-Amal neighborhood of Khan Younis city.
  • In a joint operation with the Martyr Omar Al-Qasim Brigades, targeted Gaza envelope settlements with a barrage of 107mm rockets.
  • Shelled positions of Israeli soldiers with artillery shells, east of the central Gaza Strip, with a barrage of heavy caliber mortar shells.

Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades’ operations on Mar. 29:

  • Targeted an Israeli military vehicle with RPGs, west of Khan Younis city, inflicting damages.
  • Shelled Israeli soldiers and their military vehicles with mortar shells around the Al-Shifa Medical Complex, west of Gaza City.
  • Targeted an Israeli troop carrier (APC) with an anti-tank shell in the Qarara area, northeast of Khan Younis city.

Hezbollah’s operations on Mar. 29:
(Lebanon)

Eastern sector:

  • At around 8:00 local time, the Zibdin barracks in Lebanon's Shebaa were targeted with missiles.
  • At around 09:45 local time, the Zibdin barracks in Lebanon's Shebaa were targeted for the second time with Falaq missiles.
  • At around 13:00 local time, Israeli soldiers were targeted in Hunin Castle with artillery shells.
  • At around 13:15 local time, the Metulla site was targeted with appropriate weapons.
  • At around 14:45 local time, a military vehicle was targeted in the Metulla site with a drone.
  • At around 18:10 local time, the Al-Samaqa site in Lebanon's Kafr Shuba was targeted with missiles.

Western sector:

  • At around 12:40 local time, the headquarters of the “91st” Division in the Beranit Barracks was targeted with Burkan missiles.
  • At around 15:50 local time, Israeli soldiers were targeted in Hadab Yaron with artillery shells, resulting in multiple casualties.
  • At around 16:00 local time, Israeli soldiers at the Jal al-Alam site were targeted with Falaq missiles.
  • At around 21:15 local time, Israeli vehicles inside the Al-Malikiyah site were targeted with missiles.

Islamic Resistance of Iraq’s operations on Mar. 29:

  • Targeted an Israeli military asset in the occupied Golan Heights with kamikaze drones.
