More than 29,000 Palestinians have been killed as the Israeli regime presses ahead with its genocidal war against the Palestinian people in the besieged Gaza Strip.

In a statement on Monday, the Gaza health ministry said the Israeli occupation army has killed 107 Palestinians and wounded 145 more over the past 24 hours.

It added that the total number of casualties has reached 29,092 deaths and 69,028 injuries since Israel launched its atrocities against Gaza on October 7, 2023.

Some remain under the rubble amid heavy bombardment and a lack of civil defense and ambulance crews, the ministry noted.

Israel launched the war on Gaza after the Palestinian resistance group Hamas waged a surprise attack, dubbed Operation Al-Aqsa Storm, against the occupying entity.

Hamas said that its operation came in response to Israel’s violations at al-Aqsa Mosque in occupied al-Quds, growing Israeli settler violence, and decades of occupation.
