Dec. 22: ‘Axis of Resistance’ operations against Israeli occupation

Amid Israel’s genocidal war on the Gaza Strip, which has already claimed the lives of more than 20,000 Palestinians, most of them children and women, resistance groups in Palestine and across the region continue their operations against the Tel Aviv regime and its Western backers.

The operations carried out by the Palestinian and regional resistance groups on December 22, Thursday, are as follows:

Qassam Brigades' operations on Dec. 22:

• An Israeli military tank was targeted with an ‘Al-Yassin 105’ shell in the Al-Mahatta neighborhood in the city of Khan Yunis, south of the besieged Gaza Strip.
• An infantry force was hit with an anti-personnel device east of the city of Khan Yunis followed by clashes with members of the Israeli force, causing many deaths and injuries.
•  A bulldozer was destroyed with an ‘Al-Yassin 105’ shell east of Khan Yunis, in the southern Gaza Strip.
• An infantry force consisting of at least five Israeli soldiers barricaded in a house was targeted with an ‘Al-Yassin 105’ shell followed by clashes, which led to several casualties.
• A troop carrier was hit with an ‘Al-Yassin 105’ shell in the Al-Mahatta neighborhood in Khan Yunis, south of the Gaza Strip.

Hezbollah's operations on Dec. 22:

Eastern sector:

• At around 14:20 local time, an Israeli infantry force was targeted in the vicinity of the Metulla site on Lebanon’s border with the occupied territories.
• At around 14:30 local time, a group of Israeli regime soldiers and military vehicles were targeted in the vicinity of the Al-Manara site near the border with “appropriate weapons.”
• At around 16:15 local time, a command and control center of the Israeli military was targeted in the town of Kafr Kila with “appropriate weapons”, causing direct hits.

Western sector:

• At around 8:30 local time, Israeli soldiers were targeted in the vicinity of Shomera Barracks, the occupied Lebanese town of Tarbikha.
• At around 9:35 local time, the Shomera Barracks were targeted with “appropriate weapons.”
• At around 11:00 local time, Israeli regime soldiers were targeted in the settlement of Evin Menachem, causing many casualties in the enemy camp.

 Iraqi resistance’s operations on Dec. 22:

• It announced the operation against a “vital target” in the Mediterranean Sea, directly hitting the site. The target was the Karish gas rig that was hit by a drone. The Islamic resistance said the attack was carried out using “appropriate weapons.” It didn’t provide further details.
