UNSC unable to call for lasting ceasefire in Gaza

The UN Security Council held a high level meeting on Wednesday to discuss Israel’s war on the Gaza Strip. Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan made a blistering attack on the council for its failure to call for a permanent ceasefire in the besieged Palestinian territory.
