Four days of a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip have passed and a two-day extension has been announced. This truce came after 48 days of an Israeli genocidal war on the Palestinian territory.

Hamas and the Israeli regime have agreed to release more hostages. Hamas has has announced that it is willing to release all of the captives if Israel releases all of its Palestinian hostages, which Israel calls prisoners. There are up to 10,000 Palestinian prisoners/hostages currently being held in Israeli prisons. This is the reality for Palestinians living under an occupying force.

We discuss this issue in this edition of the Spotlight program.
