The military wing of Palestinian resistance movement Hamas says the Israeli regime has lost scores of its military vehicles since its war of aggression against the besieged Gaza Strip started.

Abu Ubaida, the spokesman for the al-Qassam Brigades, said on Saturday that more than 160 Israeli military vehicles, including tanks and armored vehicles, have been completely or partially destroyed so far.

Speaking in a recorded message, he added that Palestinian resistance fighters had destroyed 25 Israeli military vehicles during the past 48 hours alone.

Abu Ubaida noted that the occupying regime will not enjoy an hour of calm in Gaza, and will pay a high price for its ground aggression against the blockaded territory.

“Our resistance fighters come out from under the ground, [and also fight] above the ground and from under the rubble, and destroy its (Israel’s) armored vehicles and tanks,” the spokesman said.

Abu Ubaida stressed that Israeli tanks are facing violent resistance from Palestinian fighters, who force them to retreat.

The spokesman for the al-Qassam Brigades added that the massacre and killing of women and children, which is being committed before the eyes of the entire world, is the only achievement of the Zionist regime in its war on Gaza.

Abu Ubaida concluded by emphasizing that great sacrifices made by Palestinian fighters and people are a prelude to the final victory.

Earlier in November, the al-Qassam spokesman had made a similar announcement, saying that the brigades had destroyed two dozen Israeli combat vehicles in their confrontations with Israeli forces.

“We’ve successfully destroyed 24 enemy vehicles, including tanks and other military equipment over the past 48 hours,” Abu Obaida said.

He added, “Al-Qassam Brigades’ snipers effectively engage soldiers who have taken shelter in residential buildings or those attempting to expose themselves from their fortified positions.”
