Israeli forces fire directly at journalists, injure photojournalist in Jenin

Israeli forces on Monday shot a Palestinian photojournalist who was covering the regime’s ongoing aggression on the occupied northern West Bank city of Jenin.

According to the Quds News Network, Hazem Nasser was shot and injured amid the occupation forces’ raid on the flashpoint city on Monday.

His condition was described as moderate to serious, and he is now undergoing a surgical procedure.

It came after heavy clashes broke out between resistance fighters and the Israeli regime’s troops after the latter carried out a raid in Jenin.

During the clashes, Israeli forces killed at least four Palestinians and wounded dozens with live ammunition.

Israeli occupation snipers also reportedly fired directly at journalists covering the regime’s aggression on Jenin, only a few meters away from the site where veteran journalist Shireen Abu Akleh was murdered last year.

Earlier this month, Israeli forces deliberately shot Palestinian photojournalist Momen Samreen in the head as he was covering the demolition of a Palestinian-owned home during a military raid in the West Bank city of Ramallah.
