Tehran-IAEA cooperation

Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Rafael Grossi has confirmed this week that Iran is cooperating with the nuclear watchdog on the country's civilian nuclear program.

Speaking to reporters on Sunday, Grossi reiterated that Tehran has granted access to those sites demanded by the Agency and done away with the Agency's concerns regarding two probes that have now been closed.

The Israeli regime has called Grossi's comments and the conclusion of the IAEA probes as "capitulation to Iran" and a compromise of the Agency's standards.

Tel Aviv's comments, however, have not been taken lightly by Grossi and the IAEA. We have discussed the IAEA's relations with Iran and the challenges ahead in our Spotlight program.
