First national conference on diplomacy, cross-border environmental challenges held in Tehran

The current world is facing many environmental troubles like climate change, dust storms, and pollution caused by biological resources.

In this regard, the Center for Political and International Studies of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Iran has organized its first national conference on diplomacy and cross-border environmental challenges.

The first national conference on diplomacy and transboundary environmental challenges was held in the presence of the minister of energy and the head of the environmental organization at the office of political and international studies of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Also, several prominent speakers examined different dimensions of cross-border environmental challenges and presented their proposed solutions for the development of environmental diplomacy in the framework of separate and parallel roundtables.

The Head of Iran's Department of Environment hailed the efforts made to tackle the country’s environmental challenges.

The achievements of the first national conference on diplomacy and cross-border environmental challenges will be useful in the process of decision-making and adopting new policies in the country’s environmental sectors.
