In line with the fourth meeting on Iran and Russia media cooperation, a delegation of Russian television executives as well as TV and radio station managers, led by the deputy minister of digital affairs, visited the IRIB World Service’s TV and radio stations.

That included the Spanish channel Hispan TV and the English news network Press TV; a chance for the Russian delegation to observe the technical developments up-close. The visit also provided the opportunity to discuss potential areas of cooperation.

The details were carefully discussed in order to break down the steps and see how the two sides can take cooperation to the next level. First and foremost, representatives were appointed from both sides to be directly in touch, and are in charge of joint media productions from now on.

Both sides agreed that the groundwork is prepared and joint production can start in 2023, marking the beginning of a strategic alliance and multi-polar world where all voices can be heard.
