In the UK, the problems of the NHS are more pronounced, and have been for a while.

A recent report revealed how about 20,000 people a day are waiting at least four hours in A & E, NHS England figures show, with many others stuck in hospital corridors waiting for a bed. With a govt. Under financial strain, why don’t funds get allocated to fix the problem? Instead, 1.5 billion pounds so far have gone to the Ukraine war.

And this is the situation in hospitals in France: They don’t have the adequate structure, neither the adequate conditions, nor the adequate tools, or enough staff. It lacks permanent doctors. And patients have to wait at the emergency room for up to 48 hours. Is this a funding problem, mixed with a shortage of staff?
