2022 FIFA World Cup: Tunisia 0-1 Australia

Australia, held on to a first half lead to pick up a crucial 1-0 victory over Tunisia in Group D, that keeps alive their hopes of qualifying for the World Cup last 16.

Graham Arnold’s side found the winner after 23 minutes, when Mitchell Duke managed to flick home a superb effort.

They survived a second half onslaught from Tunisia to secure the win.

Australia, who began the tournament with a 4-1 defeat to defending champions France, will face Denmark next, knowing qualification is in their own hands.

For Tunisia, they need nothing less than a win against France in their final game; otherwise, they would be packing home.
