Stealing Nigeria’s Oil

Nigeria recently discovered an illegal connection line from one of its major oil export terminals into the sea that had been operating undetected for nine years.

This oil rich West African nation loses billions of dollars monthly due to theft of Oil. The country’s navy says major oil multinationals are complicit in this theft. We are focusing on massive oil theft in Nigeria, one of the major crude oil producers in the world.

The country’s navy says Multinational Oil Companies are part of the syndicates in the crude oil theft ring in the oil-rich Niger Delta region.

In the second part of our program, we shall be looking at the issue of the Herero-Nama genocide perpetrated by Germany in Namibia during the colonial era. Opposition parties in Namibia have rejected a compensation deal offered by Germany and want it renegotiated.
