Palestinian resistance movement Hamas has held a big protest in the Gaza Strip to condemn the surge of Israeli attacks in al-Quds and on the al-Aqsa Mosque.

People thronged the streets of the blockaded territory following the Friday prayer to take part in the event.

Protesters shouted slogans against the Israeli regime and vowed to stand with al-Quds.

In recent days, extremist Jewish settlers backed by Israeli forces have been violating the sanctity of al-Aqsa mosque compound in al-Quds.

Palestinian resistance movement Hamas has warned the Israeli regime against violations in al-Quds and asserted that armed resistance is key to reaching freedom.

Protesters also expressed their adherence to resistance as the best way to defend al-Quds against Israeli aggression and attacks.

Palestinians in Gaza have expressed their willingness to sacrifice their lives for the sake of liberating al-Quds.

Occupied by Israeli forces in 1967, al-Quds has been at the core of the Palestinian struggle for justice and freedom. This is while, Palestinians consider al-Quds as the capital of a future Palestinian state.

Palestinians here are calling for stepping up all forms of resistance against Israeli plots over al-Quds and al-Aqsa Mosque.
