Ashura affecting anti imperialist political movements

Every year for more than a thousand years, in the first month of the Islamic lunar calendar called Muharram, Muslims and liberated humans from around the world, commemorate the jihad and martyrdom of Prophet Muhammad's grandson Imam Hussein and his companions, in the deserts of Karbala, in the event known as Ashoura.

Unjust rulers throughout this more than one thousand years have been shaken to the core by the annual commemorations of this martyrdom because of the truths being taught and the masses participating in them, and thus they have tried to ban them throughout this history.
