US-Russia tensions

Russia’s President Putin blames US for dragging war in Ukraine, accuses Washington of trying to instigate conflicts in other parts of the world. The United States has provided key economic and military backing to Ukraine including long-range precision artillery.

According to Putin, the Pelosi’s Taiwan trip was part of US ‘purposeful strategy’ to destabilize the region. Putin accuses US of fanning tensions in Asia with Taiwan visit and AUKUS pact.

The AUKUS pact between Australia, UK, and US, as Putin argued, shows the West seeks establishment of NATO-style bloc in Asia-Pacific region.
