Yemen’s fragile truce

Seven years of war on Yemen have left the country devastated. A vast majority of the population lives below the poverty line making it the poorest country in the region. Numerous attempts to broker a lasting ceasefire have failed during the years and now, fear once again looms amid Yemenis as the latest truce between Yemen’s Ansarullah resistance movement and the Saudi backed coalition is set to expire today.
