Its hard to imagine a house without home appliances. These items bring comfort, convenience and speed up processes in the home that would otherwise take large amounts of time to complete. Irans home appliance industry has steadily grown over the past four years. this is largely due to a government ban that was implemented in 2018.
The goal was to support local productions as the industry was operating below its potential high capacities. Irans home appliance sector is worth over $6 billion. It is also a major exporter of these items to neighboring regions. This sectors success has been largely attributed to the governments support for knowledge-based companies that have been expanding and developing the home appliance industry over the years, saving the country millions in imports.
