Presidents of Iran, Turkey and Russia held tripartite summit on Syria in Tehran on Tuesday and condemned foreign meddling in the Arab country.
Irans President Raeisi said territorial integrity and independence of Syria must be respected. Russias President Putin urged respect for Syrias sovereignty, slamming the West for plundering Syrias natural wealth with intention of disintegrating the country. Erdogan, in turn said Astana process is only platform that has taken necessary measures for peace in Syria. Irans leader told Turkish President Erdogan that military action in Syria would harm Turkey too.
