American Human Rights

Iran marks 34th anniversary of US downing of passenger plane over Persian Gulf, calling for perpetrators of US war crime to be held to account. USS Vincennes fired missiles at Iran Air Airbus on July 3, 1988, killing all 290 people onboard.

Also the US and Western states turned blind eye to Saddam’s crimes against Iran, such as chemical attacks on Iranian city of Sardasht in June 1987, at UN Security Council. In this edition of Spotlight, Press TV reviews instances of US crimes against Iran with Sara Flounders, co-director of International Action Center from New York and Olsi Jazexhi historian and journalist from Tirana.
