Iran beat US in 2022 Volleyball Nations League

Amin Esmaeilnezhad scored 20 points for Iran and Torey Defalco earned 13 points for the USA in the match on Thursday.

Iran beat the US in straight sets (25-18, 29-27, 27-25) in Week 2 of the 2022 Volleyball Nations League (VNL) on Thursday.

Amin Esmaeilnezhad from Iran's national volleyball team scored 20 points for the Islamic Republic, while Torey Defalco earned 13 points for the US in the match.

Iran are scheduled to meet Brazil Friday night.

The Volleyball Nations League is a worldwide series played by 16 countries in June and July. This year’s preliminary round began on 7 June and will end on 10 July. The final round will be on 20 to 24 July.
