Iran-Venezuela ties
A resistance economy and establishing and maintaining relations with independent countries, are two axes of Irans policy. In line with the latter, Iran has signed a 20-year cooperation road map with Venezuela during a state visit by its President Nicolas Maduro to Tehran, to upgrade bilateral relations from tactical to strategic and to expand more into the economic sphere.
