Barca beat Sevilla 1-0, move up to second

Pedri has scored a stunning second-half goal as Barcelona beat Sevilla 1-0 to climb up to second in La Liga and keep their faint title hopes alive.

After a goalless first half, the deadlock was finally broken in the 72nd minute, courtesy of a moment of brilliance from 19-year old Pedri, whose nimble footwork created the perfect opening to find the bottom corner with a powerful driven strike. The victory sees Barca leapfrog Sevilla and Atletico into second, yet 12 points behind rivals Real Madrid, who have played one more game. Up next, the Catalans will travel to Germany to take on Eintracht Frankfurt in the first leg of the Europa League quarter-finals.
