Yemen under siege

Nearly seven years have passed since Saudi Arabia and its allies launched a deadly war on Yemen.

The aggression was launched with the support of the United States and other its western allies.

Ever since the start of the war, Yemen which was already the poorest country in the Arab world was put under a siege.

Now Yemeni officials have slammed western powers for their response to the crippling siege imposed on the country.

Yemens information minister Dhaifallah al-Shami has also blamed the United States for the siege.
