Al-Fajr Cultural Days has kicked off, but this time it is not held in the Iranian capital Tehran; rather, Beirut is hosting the event like many other Iranian arts exhibitions held here.

The Iranian Minister of Culture opened the festivals with an awe-inspiring musical concert. Iranian musicians told Press TV they are glad to be attending such an event.

The many facets of Iran’s artistic culture have come all the way to Lebanon, from the folklore dress to post-Islamic calligraphy.

According to organizers, this event is significant in that it represents part of collaboration between Iran and Lebanon.

The Fajr Cultural Days in Lebanon are a manifestation of how the Islamic Revolution was an inspiration to artists across the Muslim World. The Islamic awakening was not only spiritual, but it also formed the ethos for the talented in many arts.
