Juventus see off Sampdoria to reach Coppa Italia quarter-finals

Juventus have advanced to the quarter-finals of the Coppa Italia after dismantling Sampdoria 4-1 at the Allianz Stadium.

The hosts opened the scoring in the 25th minute, when Colombian striker, Juan Cuadrado, netted with a low free-kick.

The Old lady doubled the lead before the hour mark after Daniele Rugani netted the ball with a precise header.

But Andrea Conti pulled one back for Sampdoria with a clinical finish from inside the box in the 63rd minute.

Only 2 minutes later, substitute Paulo Dybala latched onto a loose ball and fired home from close-range to restore the 2-goal cushion for Juventus.

Finally, Alvaro Morata scored the 4th from the spot to put the match to bed with 13 minutes remaining. With the victory, Bianconerri will meet the winner of the game between Sassuolo and Cagliari, who will line up on Wednesday.
