Greene compares Biden vaccination push to Nazis

GOP Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene

GOP Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene has compared US President Joe Biden’s push for COVID-19 vaccination to “Brownshirts” that helped Hitler and the Nazi Party rise to power.

"Biden pushing a vaccine that is NOT FDA approved shows Covid is a political tool used to control people," Greene said. "People have a choice, they don’t need your medical brown shirts showing up at their door ordering vaccinations."

Greene’s comments come after Biden announced that his public health officials are ready "to go community-by-community, neighborhood-by-neighborhood, and often times door-to-door, literally knocking on doors" to encourage people to get vaccinated.

Greene is a known conspiracy theorist and QAnon supporter who is serving as the Republican representative for Georgia's 14th congressional district since early January. The staunch Trump’s fan has also a long history of supporting violence against the Democrats.

In February, House Democrats, along with about a dozen Republicans, voted to strip Greene of her seats on the Budget and the Education and Labor committees in response to her endorsements of political violence as well as her suggestions that school shootings and the 9/11 terrorist attacks were staged.

But, many Democrats such as Rep. Jimmy Gomez are seeking to remove Greene from Congress altogether.
