English Premier League: Arsenal 1-2 Manchester City

Rodri has scored a stoppage-time winner as Manchester City beat 10-man Arsenal in an incident-packed encounter at the Emirates, moving 11 points clear at the top of the Premier League.

Arsenal who didn't have Mikel Arteta on the touch-line, due to Covid-19 made the breakthrough just after the half-hour mark when Bukayo Saka swept home from inside the area.

But the Gunners became the Architects of their own downfall in the second half when first Granit Chaka gave away a soft penalty on Bernardo Silva which was duly converted by Riyad Mahrez in the 57th minute.

Then just one minute later Gabriel was sent off for 2 yellow cards in quick succession. And with the game seemingly drifting to a draw midfielder Rodri popped up at the death to poke home a winner after Arsenal failed to clear a Kevin De Bruyne pass.

The 11th successive EPL win moved Pep Guardiola's side 11 points clear of 2nd placed Chelsea while Arsenal hang onto 4th.
