NBA: Memphis Grizzlies 118-105 San Antonio Spurs

Over the latest news from the NBA, the Memphis Grizzlies have cemented their 4th place in the Western Conference after defeating the San Antonio Spurs 118-105 at home.

The Grizzlies got the upper hand in the opener after taking it 32-26 before losing the next with a 4-point margin. However, they went to their locker room with a 63-61 advantage. The hosts, however, surged after the break, winning the next 2 quarters that led to their 13 points overall victory and they registered 4th consecutive victory. Ja Morant was the best player of the game as he tallied 30 points for Memphis.

Meanwhile, on Friday night at the Toyota Center in Houston, the Miami Heat extended their winning run to 5 games after overcoming the Rockets 120-110.

The Heat made a 14 points gap in the 1st half after finishing it 74-60 in their favor. But, the Hawks showed some resilience after the break as they beat the visitors in the following quarters, which was not enough as the Heat earned their 23rd victory of the season.

The Heat will travel to San Francisco to play against the Golden State Warriors on Monday, while the Rockets welcome the Denver Nuggets on Saturday.
