In the NBA, Buddy Hield has scored 29 points to lead the shorthanded Sacramento Kings to a 121-114 victory over the visiting San Antonio Spurs.
The Kings came out full of energy, leading the Spurs 37-27 after one period, and were UP by 7 points going into the locker rooms. With the 2 sides playing a neck and neck battle after the break, San Antonio cut the gap to 91-85 by the end of the 3rd, but Hield came to Sacramento’s aid in the final, scoring 18 points, to propel his side to their 2nd win in the past 3 games. The COVID-stricken Kings were without 6 players, as well as several staff members, including their interim coach.
