NBA: Orlando Magic 88-123 Chicago Bulls

Over the NBA news, the Chicago Bulls have returned to winning ways after thrashing the Magic 123 to 88 at the Amway Center in Orlando.

It was a neck and neck contest in the opener as it was tied at 27-all. But, the Bulls managed to get a 9-point advantage and went to the locker room with a 55-46 lead. The visitors kept up the momentum and widened the gap to 21 points at the end of the 3rd quarter.

The Bulls continued their merciless performance in the final by hammering the Magic 33-19 to register their 35-point overall victory. With the win, Chicago sit 2nd in the Eastern Conference and they will lock horns with the Miami Heat on Saturday, while the Magic will travel to Cleveland to play against the Cavaliers.

In the meantime, the Phoenix Suns extended their winning streak to 15 games, after dispatching the New York Knicks 118-97 at the Madison Square Garden.

The Suns dominated the match in the 1st half as they took a 57-44 lead at the intermission. They kept their flawless rhythm after the break by taking the next 2 quarters to earn their 16th victory of the season. The Suns’ guard, Devin Booker was the best player of the game after collecting 32 points.
