Palestinian prisoner die in Israeli jail due to medical negligence

A Palestinian prisoner has died in Israeli custody at the age of 39 at Soroka Hospital in Beer al-Sabee in al-Naqab. Sami Umour, from Deir al-Balah city in the Gaza Strip, was imprisoned in 2008. He was suffering from congenital heart problems that were exacerbated due to Israeli medical negligence and harsh prison conditions.
