UK and France set back from the brink, for now

The United Kingdom and France have been involved in a bitter fishing row, a rare dispute between two Western allies. France has postponed sanctions on Britain, so that they can negotiate in order to diffuse tensions and figure out a solution. Paris and London haven’t been on the best of terms since the AUKUS pact was reached in September. But the fishing row is just one of the fallouts from Brexit.
