Long lines of cars leading to gas stations across Iran hit the headlines on Tuesday after thousands of fuel stations in the country went offline.

The Iranian government was quick to describe the incident as a cyberattack, blaming it on a foreign country, without naming it.

On Wednesday, President Ebrahim Raeisi went in person to a petrol station in downtown Tehran to see about the problem.
