Coincided with the birth of the Prophet Mohammad, Iran’s cultural center in Karachi has hosted a Muslim-unity conference titled “Unity, peace and the need to avoid sectarianism”.

Speaker at this gathering stressed the dire need for unity among Muslims in the face of further chaos in the region masterminded by the Western powers. Participants recalled the famous British saying of "Divide and Rule" pointing towards the recent bomb attacks in two mosques in the Afghan cities of Kunduz and Qandahar.

Speakers highlighted the ongoing Islamophobia in the west as well as the atrocities of the Israeli regime. They said Tel Aviv is seeking to sow discord among Muslims.

Experts believe Daesh re-emergence in Afghanistan is a US plot aimed at completing its 20 years failed occupation and mission in the country.
