Support for Palestinian inmates in Israeli jails keeps going on in the Gaza Strip. As the latest, the Palestinian resistance movement Hamas held a press conference to voice its support for the inmates who are under growing pressure by Israeli authority.

During the press conference, the movement marked the 10th anniversary for Wafa Al Ahrar Exchange deal, a prisoner exchange agreement that led to the freedom of over 1,400 Palestinian detainees, including women and brought a victorious joy to their families and all Palestinians.

This agreement which is a remarkable incident in the history of the Palestinian cause, proved the Palestinian resistance’s ability to restore Palestinian rights and force the Israeli regime to accept their conditions. Palestinians in the Gaza Strip are seeking a second deal to release more Palestinian detainees.

In conjunction with this conference, Palestinians also rallied in front of the red cross headquarter, protesting the inhumane Israeli abuse against Palestinian detainees inside jails including women and children and those under administrative detention.

As a number of Palestinian detainees have already gone on hunger strike in protest against Israel brutal policies, Palestinian factions here vow they won’t rest until having the inmates released.
